Scaling Without Borders: Build Your Next Chapter With eXp Realty and C5 Global

How far could your real estate business grow if your professional network extended beyond your city—and beyond your country?

For ambitious agents, international relationships can open the door to new referrals, knowledge and business opportunities. Add technology, training, revenue share and equity opportunities, and the brokerage you choose becomes an important part of your growth strategy.

That combination is what attracted me to eXp Realty and C5 Global.

Based on Montréal’s South Shore, I serve Greater Montréal and Montérégie, in the province of Québec, Canada, while working with Canadian and international clients. With my professional network, I have developed expertise in South Florida, the Dominican Republic and Mexico, and I am now building new alliances in Costa Rica. For other destinations where eXp operates, I can connect clients with appropriate local professionals.

1. The Cloud-Based Model: Built to Scale

eXp Realty organizes its brokerage around a cloud-based platform, allowing agents to connect, learn and collaborate across locations.

The appeal is flexibility: developing your own professional brand while accessing a broader network, digital business tools and training resources.

For agents interested in international business, that structure creates room to build relationships beyond the boundaries of a local office. You can deepen your expertise at home while developing connections in the markets your clients are exploring.

2. Market Leadership: eXp Realty by the Numbers

When choosing a real estate partner or a platform for your professional growth, experience, reach and production volume matter. eXp Realty combines an international network with substantial transaction activity.

* The No. 1 U.S. Transaction Leader: eXp ranked first among U.S. brokerages by transaction sides in the 2026 RealTrends Verified rankings, based on 343,091 U.S. transaction sides in 2025.[7]
* Worldwide Production at Scale: The company reported 440,163 real estate sales transactions worldwide in 2025.[1]
* Exceptional Sales Volume: Worldwide real estate sales volume reached US$194 billion in 2025.[1]
* A Massive Professional Network: eXp reported 83,060 agents and brokers on its platform at December 31, 2025.[1]

These figures demonstrate the scale of eXp’s cloud-based model and the breadth of the professional network behind it. For clients and agents alike, that reach creates opportunities to connect local expertise with international ambitions.

3. A True Global Footprint: The Road to 50 Countries by 2030

eXp Realty brings together an international community under a shared brand and cloud-based platform. Its December 2025 corporate announcement described a presence in 29 countries, with expansion continuing into 2026.[2]

A Network Across Six Continents

The network’s regional reach includes markets such as:

* The Americas: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Ecuador.
* Europe: United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Spain, Romania and the Netherlands, with Luxembourg added in 2026.[9]
* Asia and the Middle East: India, Hong Kong, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Japan and Türkiye.
* Africa and Oceania: South Africa and Australia.

These selected markets illustrate the network’s geographic breadth. Local brokerage services operate through the appropriate entities and professionals in each jurisdiction.

The Next Wave of Expansion

At eXpcon in October 2026, eXp announced plans to enter Switzerland and Abu Dhabi and expand its operations in Mauritius.[8] Abu Dhabi represents expansion within the United Arab Emirates, rather than an additional country.

The 2030 Vision

eXp has publicly announced a goal of reaching 50 countries by 2030.[3]

For agents, this vision opens the prospect of wider professional relationships and referral opportunities. For clients, it supports access to local expertise across a growing range of destinations. As new operations launch, the network’s reach continues to evolve.

4. Revenue Share: Another Dimension of Business Growth

eXp offers eligible agents the opportunity to participate in revenue share by sponsoring productive agents into the company.

Qualifying payments come from a portion of eXp’s company dollar, rather than an additional deduction from the sponsored agent’s commission. The program has seven levels, with qualification requirements governing participation and access to different levels.[4]

For agents who enjoy mentoring, connecting people and helping others grow, this can offer an additional business opportunity alongside personal sales production.

The potential depends on qualifying transactions, agent activity and program terms. Earnings vary and are not guaranteed; agents should review the current country-specific plan and income disclosures.

For me, the strongest starting point is a professional relationship built on shared goals and useful support.

5. Equity Opportunities: Participate as an Owner

eXp also offers agent equity programs that can provide opportunities to acquire or receive company shares, subject to the applicable program and eligibility requirements.[5]

The possibility of combining commission income, qualifying revenue share and equity participation gives agents several dimensions to consider when planning their business.

Stock values fluctuate, and program conditions matter. These opportunities belong within a broader strategy built around production, service and sound financial planning.

6. C5 Global: Connection, Learning and International Ambition

As a member of C5 Global, I value being part of a community with a strong Spanish-language and international focus.

C5 brings particular relevance to agents interested in Latin American connections and international preconstruction. Its international division highlights preconstruction in Miami and a broader network of professional relationships.[6]

For Spanish-speaking agents, the opportunity to learn, exchange ideas and develop connections in a shared language can be a powerful advantage.

It is also a natural fit for the way I work: connecting French-, English- and Spanish-speaking clients and professionals across markets.

Whether you want to develop international referrals, deepen your knowledge of preconstruction or expand your professional circle, the right community can help you turn ambition into practical next steps.
